"Paper or Fabric????"

Petosa's Family Grocer is joining thousands of retailers and communities who are taking a stand to help preserve our environment by reducing the amount of plastic bags clogging our landfills and waterways.

As of March 1st, 2008 we will no longer offer "Paper or Plastic" bags but instead will offer only paper bags at the checkout. We also are offering low cost reusable fabric bags as well as our own Petosa's custom heavy duty canvas bags in order to help customers participate in this world-wide movement.

We hope this "reusable movement" prompts our customers to get in the habit of bringing in their own bags when they shop. We will be continuing the monthly drawing for a Petosa's Gift Certificate to support the effort of reusing bags, so please be sure to enter when you have the chance!
